It’s not a full bro truck because it’s actually being used as a truck, so it’s only 50% bro truck, a true bro truck never sees any dirt.

Truly awful

Everything goes against how I would build my own (I wouldn’t have stretched tires and would have different wheels, would have maintained stock paint color, and not have headlight tint), but it’s at least being used!

Is it a Diesel-American-Cartel-Force, or Diesel-Cartel-American-Force?
![]() 01/03/2017 at 23:06 |

No need to adjust your set, folks. The 50% that is bro truck is 100% ridiculous — admittedly in saying that I repeat myself
![]() 01/03/2017 at 23:09 |

Stretched tires. I did not know the term of art; thank you.
But seriously: stretched LT-rated tires?

Manly. Owned and operated by an Hispanic tradesman.

Pretty much how I’d have assessed it. The trailer alone must weight 10,000 pounds.

I want to puke
![]() 01/03/2017 at 23:15 |

Nope it’s ridiculous
![]() 01/03/2017 at 23:17 |

The stretched tires...
![]() 01/03/2017 at 23:17 |

So maybe the appropriate answer is “yes and no.”
![]() 01/03/2017 at 23:18 |

One does not need to understand bro trucks -- I certainly do NOT -- to reach that conclusion, case in point.
![]() 01/03/2017 at 23:22 |

Probably 4-5k lbs.

I’m a Truck guy and don’t mind most useful lifts.
This, right here? Useless.
![]() 01/03/2017 at 23:25 |

Why is it so high? There isn’t much suspension travel and the tires fit in the wheel wells.
I’d gladly not judge this over that ridiculous bro truck.

A crap-ton. I looked for a data plate...

If it’s automotive, I don’t mine
anything
useful and my tastes tend much more toward sensible, even if that means ugly. But this damn thing is ugly. Is that overspray on the bottom of that member?

I know, right? *smh*

Does the diesel cartel import or export the NOX?

It could always be worse.
![]() 01/03/2017 at 23:35 |

As in, obNOXious?
![]() 01/03/2017 at 23:36 |

Actually, I like this one quite a bit better. Proportions are right and the tires aren’t stretched.
![]() 01/03/2017 at 23:37 |

On one hand, it actually is used for truck things like towing and driving offroad.
On the other hand it looks fucking stupid.
![]() 01/03/2017 at 23:39 |

Eh, it’s not my thing, but it’s cool if ya dig it. Personally I like the CXT more than this. It’s for sale in my town so I may go check it just for the oddity of it.
![]() 01/03/2017 at 23:44 |

That silver buggy: is it actually a
thing
? Or is it an oddity?
![]() 01/03/2017 at 23:51 |

Why does it look like the back tire is not centered in the wheel well? Looks like it will hit in the back.
![]() 01/03/2017 at 23:52 |

I’m almost positive your image is photoshopped.
The GM’s need to be lifted 6" to clear 35's due to the silly square fenders. If you imagine the wheels turning full lock, you see how they’d rub on the sides of the fenders.
35's are a necessity where I work and the Chevy guys always look likes they’re on stilts, because of the extra lift required to accommodate the narrow clearance between the square fenders.
For comparison, my F350 only required a 2" lift to clear 35's. That extra 4" makes a huge difference.

That’s a 2008 International MXT. Over 5 tons (seriously, it weighs 10,500 pounds) of ‘Murica. Here’s the ad.

I think it’s kinda cool, but not $90k cool. You could tow your 5,000 square foot fifth-wheel trailer with it and have ALL
KINDS
of Murica.

![]() 01/04/2017 at 00:03 |

Yeah they are very pricey. Brand new they were over $100k. The downside (imo at least) is it uses the same 300hp 6.0L that was used in the Ford Superduty after they quit making the awesome 7.3
![]() 01/04/2017 at 00:06 |

It’s exactly the same as stance. Yet ..gets half the hate.
![]() 01/04/2017 at 00:17 |

Well the image is from Google. Also, 6" lift to clear 35s is stupid.
![]() 01/04/2017 at 03:58 |

Many NNBS 2500 owners report fitting 35s with a 2.5inch leveling kit. More than 2 yeah but hell no they dont need 6"
![]() 01/04/2017 at 04:23 |

It looks bloody awful.
I’d take a Ford Ranger M-Sport 3.2TDCi.
![]() 01/04/2017 at 07:14 |

Looks like a body lift... to which I can only say WHY.

One of the guys who grabs our crap pallets pulled up in a similarly styled truck after driving a beat to hell ‘90s Silverado for years. His new truck had your typical white bro stickers all over it. Dirtbike part brands and male posturing type stuff. This guy was a fifty year-old Mexican dude, so I asked him what the deal was with his new truck, as he clearly didn’t buy a new truck and start sticking decals on it. He said a relative of his got it for cheaps at an auction and sold it to him. He had a sleeper bro truck. He told me a few weeks ago that it was Trump camouflage.

Darn kids these days. When are they going to learn that your tire diameter needs to be at least twice that of your wheel diameter.
Excuse me, I have to go yell at a cloud.
![]() 01/04/2017 at 09:50 |

That’s necessary thanks to IFS.
![]() 01/04/2017 at 10:14 |

As far as lifts go, that’s better-done than most (jenga mod, anyone?) but lifting a truck like that makes it waaaaay unstable for towing. The best tow rigs are airbagged duallies.
I desperately want one.
![]() 01/04/2017 at 10:52 |

Same reason it has only 35's, to clear a rim with a bunch of negative offset. The new thing in the diesel world is “stance” and then obnoxious lights/rock lights to show off your Forces. Stretched tires, big and wide wheels with a ton of negative offset. Then you have to lift it enough to actually turn and clear them so now you want your truck “skating” where the whole body is over the tires.
It’s dumb as hell. I’ll stick with my 20x10s with 35s and a whopping -8mm offset; instead of 26x14s with -76mm offset.

He might be completely oblivious to the bro-crap and focused on the important things in life like working and eating and snuggling with his wife.
